FAQs
What is your process from first inquiry to finished tattoo?
I call it the “Hello to Healed” process.
From the moment your inquiry comes in, the clock starts on our end. We do our best to respond in a timely manner and gather as much information as possible before ever moving into a consultation. That way, when we sit down together, the focus is on connection, clarity, and making sure I’m the right artist for your project.
If we move forward, we book your project from start to finish. We don’t rush the process, and we don’t treat your tattoo like a single appointment. Every detail matters—from the vision to the environment—so the experience supports the artwork.
What you can expect from Hello to Healed is time, attention, clarity, and an experience that complements the art you’ll wear for life.
How much creative freedom do you take versus client input?
I always say “Client-led, artist-created.”
You point me in the right direction through your story, ideas, and intention. From there, I take everything we gather and create something through my vision—something original and specific to you.
Creative freedom is important in this process. You came to me for a reason, and ideally we’ve built trust before the needle ever touches skin. That trust allows us to create something meaningful and permanent—art you can be proud to wear for the rest of your life.
What makes your work different from other tattoo artists?
What sets my work apart is the time and attention given before we ever start tattooing, paired with my focus on precision and detail in every piece I create.
I don’t cut corners and I don’t allow off days. Every tattoo has to be a finished work of art because you’re wearing it permanently. You’re not just a client—you’re a human canvas with a story, emotions, and meaning behind the work.
My goal is that every tattoo I create is something you wear forward in life with pride.
Do you specialize in large-scale or multi-session tattoos?
Yes, I specialize in large-scale work.
Larger tattoos allow for better detail, stronger composition, and artwork that holds up over time. The clients I work with are usually looking for full coverage and a story that deserves space to be told properly.
That’s why projects are planned intentionally and booked in half-day, full-day, or multi-session blocks. It’s a small commitment upfront for excellence, precision, and longevity. Every tattoo is an investment, and I build them to last.
How far in advance do you book, and what does availability look like?
I typically book my schedule by the quarter, around three months out. This allows me to keep my schedule full while still giving each client the time and attention they deserve.
I’m selective about the work I take on, not out of ego, but out of respect for the quality I produce and the longevity of the tattoo you’ll wear. I don’t work with everyone—I work with the right ones.
If I’m not the right artist for your project, I’ll be honest and help point you toward someone who is.
How do pricing and booking work?
Pricing is based on the scale, complexity, and time required for your project. All of that is discussed during the consultation so there’s clarity from the beginning.
A deposit is required to secure your booking and shows a mutual commitment to the process. This structure protects the time, preparation, and creative energy that goes into every project.
How much does the design need to be finalized before the appointment?
The design doesn’t need to be fully locked in before your appointment. What matters most is clarity around your story, direction, and intention.
Over-finalizing a design too early can limit creativity. Trusting the process allows the artwork to evolve naturally and ensures the final piece is original, thoughtful, and built to last.
How should I prepare for my appointment, and what’s expected of me?
Preparation is just as important as aftercare.
You’ll receive clear pre-care instructions one week to 72 hours before your appointment to make sure your skin is in the best condition possible for long sessions. We stay in communication so you know exactly what’s expected.
We recommend proper hydration, quality skin care, a high-protein diet, and light stretching leading up to your appointment to help with comfort and endurance. Food is provided during your session so you can focus fully on the experience.
What should I expect during a tattoo session?
Sessions are focused, intentional, and designed around comfort and quality. The environment is set up to support the work and allow you to stay present throughout the process.
Long sessions are paced properly to maintain precision and consistency from start to finish.
Who is your work not for?
My work isn’t for trend-driven tattoos or impulse decisions. It’s for people who want to tell a story and carry meaning, belief, and intention in the art they wear.
I specialize in faith-based, belief-driven, and power-based tattoos. That still leaves a wide range of possibilities, but the focus is always on what’s true to you—not what’s popular right now.
Permanence matters here. The tattoos I create are meant to represent what lasts in your life, not what changes with time.
